I never was interested in going to church...
...
when I was younger. I did not accept Jesus Christ as my Savior until I was in my twenties. I lived a life of sin and misery through the party life growing up. I was as far away from Christ as you could imagine at this point in my life. My life changed a lot when I accepted Christ, God had a plan for me and it was not what I expected. I never would have imagined my calling would be working with children as well as family counseling. I have learned, that even through all the bad things I had done, Jesus loves ME and desires a relationship with me. My faith in Jesus has increased substantially since those dark days and I have gained an understanding that Jesus has an unending love for us all.

The loves of my life are as follows, my wife Jennifer, who I admire and love very much, and our three wonderful children. Clay, the oldest, which you can find playing sports, video games, or hanging out in our youth department. Clint, our middle son, loves to read and play games. Then last but not least is Caden, our youngest, a wonderful young boy that is very energetic and loves to watch TV and play with his brothers. I currently work with children in all aspects of the children's department and with the Upward sports programs. I love to work with all generations; I have a soft spot for our children, as well as our seniors in the church and community. My wonderful wife takes care of the preschool and is our nursery coordinator. It has been a blessing in my short time in the ministry to see so many wonderful people and to experience what God has to offer. During my leisure time you will find me watching a sporting event, hunting, or fishing. In the children's department here at Highland Hills we are here to serve you and help you experience the wonderful love of Christ.
